Kenai Explorer
2 Day/2 Night Explorer


A On day one, you will meet your guide at the airport or a local downtown Anchorage hotel. You will then, depart for Cooper Landing along the scenic Turnagain Arm. Upon arrival in Cooper Landing, you will get settled in to your cabin, enjoy dinner and talk with one of the lodge managers about your upcoming activity day(s). For your activity day(s), you will have the choice of one of the following activities…

You can choose…a full day of rafting down the Kenai Canyon and through the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge – watch for moose, salmon and bald eagles as your guides share the stories behind the sights.

Or.. guided hiking on the trails of the Chugach National Forest or Kenai National Wildlife Refuge – learn about the native uses of the numerous plants and flowers you’ll see along the way.

Or…relaxing at the lodge – pour yourself into a rocking chair on our riverside deck and take in the breathtaking Kenai River and watch for wildlife.

Or…a day of guided fishing on the world famous Kenai River for salmon or trout – whether you’re and avid angler or a novice who can’t come to Alaska without fishing, you’ll have an unforgettable experience with our expert guides (additional cost for guided fishing).

On your last day, bid farewell to the Kenai Riverside Lodge after breakfast and travel to Seward. Upon arrival in Seward, you will depart on the Kenai Fjords National Park Tour, for a 6-hour cruise of the surrounding area and wildlife. Upon your return to Seward, you will head back to Anchorage.

Tour Includes: Transfers to and from Anchorage, Best of Gear and Equipment, Meals as noted in above description, Lodging as noted, guided activities as noted.

Note: Trip price does not include fishing add-on, fishing license, beer, wine or liquor or gratuities to staff.
