Outdoor & Nature Photography
Full – Day Moose Safari

Spend the day with the largest member of the deer family, Alces alces gigas, the Alaska-Yukon Moose. We’ll hike into the picturesque Chugach Mountains to see and photograph moose during the height of the fall rut. We’ll watch as groups of Bull Moose vie for the attention of the cows and there’s always the chance of witnessing a clash between these titans.
Your safari begins with a pick up at your hotel just after sunrise. Once we’ve arrived at the viewing area, a short hike will have us in the heart of moose country. With the long days of the Alaskan fall, you’ll have plenty of time to get all the images you want. With 26-years of experience, we do our best to get you to where the moose are, and if that doesn’t work, we speak moose!

Tour Includes: Transportation to and from the viewing area and your hotel, snacks, bottled water, guiding, and Logistics Staff Coordination.

Departure Dates and Times: The tour operates daily with a 4 person maximum, September 24 to October 6, 2005.

Note: A one to two hour break is taken at mid-day for lunch. Not included are meals and gratuities. Members of North American Nature Photographers and the North American Moose Foundation.
