The shallow waters of Orca Inlet are home to the world's largest concentration of sea otters. Over 2,500 of these photogenic animals call this home. Along with other marine mammals, this guided boat excursion features bird rookeries and other wildlife. This trip averages six to eight hours aboard our comfortable boat.
Option #3 Copper River Delta Flightseeing
The Copper River Delta is a 700,000 acre complex of braided glacial streams, intertidal sloughs and shallow ponds. These are all woven together by strands of sparsely vegetated mud flats, sedge marshes, alder and willow thickets and small stands of spruce and cottonwood forest. This all provides prime habitat for waterfowl, salmon, bear, wolves, goats, coyotes, and moose. This is also the stopover for millions of shorebirds during spring migration.
